The candidates who complete the Xth Standard are eligible for admission for Polytechnic Colleges and XIIth Standard for Catering Institutions. Before the admission process is started, the required qualifications such as Age, Marks required, and Number of Seats in the various categories etc. are published in the leading dailies so that students can decide their choice of polytechnic, course etc. well in advance.
